What are the EPC requirements for letting?
Current government regulations require all rental properties to have an EPC rating of E or higher before being let to tenants.
How long does it take to get an EPC certificate?
I aim to complete the home inspection within 30 minutes. Generally the EPC will be lodged on the Central Register either the same or next working day.
What is the lifespan of an EPC?
An EPC is valid for 10 years and can be used multiple times during that period. However, if you've made any energy improvements in that time, you may want to consider getting a new EPC to improve the rating.
